NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Development Corporation of McAllen, Inc. intends to participate in “Project”, as defined in the Development Corporation Act of 1979, as amended, Texas Revised Civil Statutes Annotated Article 5190.6, including, but not limited to, acquisition, improvement, and equipping by McAllen Housing Authority of The Villas at Beaumont Elderly Housing located at 22nd and 22 ½ Streets and Beaumont Avenue, McAllen, Texas.
A public hearing on the expenditure of funds for such project will be held by the Board of Directors of the Development Corporation of McAllen, Inc. during a meeting to be held at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, November 16, 2009, at the McAllen City Hall, City Commission Chambers located at 1300 Houston, McAllen, Texas 78501.
All interested persons are invited to attend the hearing to express their views with respect to the Project. The hearing site is accessible to handicapped persons.
