This is the administrative department of the Municipal Government for the City of McAllen under the direction and supervision of the Mayor and City Commission. City Manager was created by City Ordinance and is the Chief Budget Officer of the City. The City Manager shall advise the City Commissioners at all times as to the financial condition and needs of the City. City Manager provides administrative oversight of all City Departments and is an ex-officio member of the following Administrative or Advisory Boards: - McAllen Hidalgo International Bridge Board
