McAllen To Celebrate 27th Annual Candlelight Posada
The City of McAllen Parks and Recreation Department and the McAllen Chamber of Commerce welcome everyone to the 27th Annual Candlelight Posada, Friday, December 4 from 5 pm to 10 pm and Saturday, December 5 from 3 pm to 6 pm.
The theme of this year's Posada is "A Main Street Christmas".
The event kicks off on Friday with a lighted Christmas parade on Main Street and the lighting of the Mayor's Christmas Tree and continues with plenty of entertainment at Archer Park.
On Saturday night, the community sings along with the nativity procession of the re-enactment of Mary and Joseph seeking shelter.
