Join IMAS this evening in welcoming British artist Colin Christian to the Rio Grande Valley. Christian will be
presenting his latest body of work, as well as hold a Q&A session with IMAS Executive, Joseph Bravo. Christian larger-than-life fiberglass sculptures are inspired by his love of old sci-fi movies, pinup girls, Japanese Anime, ambient electronic music and H.P. Lovecraft. Christian has exhibited in Hong Kong, Italy, and his latest show took place in the Opera Gallery in New York City. He has been featured in Hi Fructose Magazine and Juxtapoz. FREE Admission. February 11 All Day- Robots + Us Opens - Robots+Us (Robots plus Us) is a fun interactive traveling
exhibit that takes a playful look at how biology and engineering are coming together to close the gap between reality and our robot dreams. Children of all ages will be able to interact with Lena, a computer “Avatar”, compete against an industrial robot arm, test a robot’s face recognition abilities, plus much more!

February 16 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.- Opening Reception: Works by French Impressionist Henri
Fantin-Latour - The International Museum of Art & Science and the San Antonio Museum of Art have come together to bring the public of the Rio Grande Valley a very special exhibit of Fantin-Latour’s works on paper. Inspired by Richard Wagner’s Operas, this works have only been exhibited twice since their discovery after Fantin-Latour’s death.
