The McAllen Heritage Center will be expanding over the next few months. The Heritage Center is the museum for the history of McAllen, Texas. The Center will take over all of the floor space available at La Placita downtown. La Placita, a historical building, had been housing the Heritage Center as well as vending machines, storage lockers and restrooms for downtown shoppers.
