Registration Underway for Operation Imagination Summer Camps

Summer is almost upon us which means that the International Museum of Art & Science is preparing for its educational and fun-filled summer camp Operation Imagination. Weekly sessions motivate children to discover, explore, and create with hands-on activities and dynamic lesson plans.

IMAS summer camps range from Dinosaurs, to Robots, to Star Wars, to Pyramids, to Dragons. Camps run on a weekly basis, Tuesday-Friday, and are specifically designed for 6-12 year olds. However, for the first time, this summer IMAS has created a class specially-designed for 5 year olds titled “Creepy Crawlies” that will run the first half of July. Also, small class sizes create a safe and enjoyable experience for all campers.

Registration is already underway, and classes are filling up quickly. Make sure to register as soon as possible through the McAllen Parks & Recreation Department by calling (956) 681-3333. MISD provides free breakfast and lunch for most sessions.

Cost per session: $45/McAllen Resident, $65/Non Resident.
