The 14th Annual McAllen Food Festival themed “Back to the Fifties” will be held on Thursday, January 29 at the McAllen Convention Center from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
This event is well renowned for its great combination of delicious cuisine, great entertainment and fun for the whole family. Come savor entrees from some of the best restaurants in the McAllen area.
The McAllen Food Festival offers a great opportunity for restaurants and caterers to serve delicious selections from their menus for visitors to enjoy. Every year, the event hosts over thirty restaurants serving sample portions of main course items such as sushi, prime rib, Shrimp, pasta, BBQ ribs, coffee, desserts and much more.
Every year, a theme is chosen to decorate the exhibitors’ booths and create a fun environment. This year the theme will be based in the “Fabulous Fifties”, and visitors can expect related décor and a live music. The McAllen Food Festival committee invites attendees to participate in a 50’s costume contest and jitterbug dance contest that will take place during the food festival.
It is sure to be an evening of great memories and fun for the entire family. Admission Tickets cost $15 and a child under 10 admissions is free when accompanied by an adult.
