McAllen- McAllen Marathon race officials will hold a press conference Wednesday, Dec. 9 at 10 a.m. at the McAllen Sports Park to release details regarding the Healthy South Texas weekend.
The event will supplement a packed weekend, which includes the McAllen Kids Marathon and the 5k race being held Saturday, Dec. 12 and the McAllen Marathon Scott Crane Memorial Run to be held Sunday, Dec. 13.
Together with the McAllen Independent School District, The Monitor and Texas A&M, McAllen will host events and activities in line with healthy food choices, asthma education, diabetes screenings and much more.
