City of McAllen Joins TexasOne Supporters

(AUSTIN, Texas, August 9, 2016) – City of McAllen has signed on as a supporter of TexasOne™, a public‐ private partnership of the Texas Economic Development Corporation charged with marketing and promoting Texas as a premier business location. Texas Economic Development Corporation is embarking on a historic fundraising campaign to take Texas to the next level and make the Lone Star State a global business destination of the future.

City of McAllen joins state leaders in the mission to build a bolder Texas through four strategic points: 1. Establish a Statewide Network of business leaders who will engage to create economic development in Texas. 2. Execute a bold plan to Market Texas globally as the destination of the future.   3. Expand the state’s presence with national and international Trade Visits.   4. Champion Special Projects for Governor Abbott that will improve the state’s competitiveness.
