Blue Ribbon Committee

The McAllen City Commission have appointed a Blue Ribbon Committee to evaluate and determine athletic potential for the community. The Committee has received a charge from the Commission as follows:

  1. Identification of athletics facilities which are in need of expansion or new facilities.
  2. Identification of potential sites or expansion.
  3. Identification of funding opportunities.
  4. Develop timeline and priority listing of athletic facilities to be developed.

The Committee will have their first meeting on Thursday, November 11, 2010 with a recommendation to the City Commission by December 13, 2010
