Overview The Parks Division of the McAllen Parks and Recreation Department maintains park related sites located throughout the city. These sites cater to popular pastimes such as bicycling and enjoying the beauty of the Rio Grande Valley. - 2nd Street Hike & Bike Trail
- A 2 1/3 Mile paved exercise trail that travels north on Second Street between Business 83 and Nolana Avenue
- Bicentennial Boulevard Esplanade

This esplanade follows Bicentennial Boulevard from Business 83 to Expressway 83. Along the sidewalk path, you can find a number of park benches for relaxing - Bicentennial Hike & Bike Trail
