27th Annual Candlelight Posada 
The McAllen Chamber of Commerce and the City of McAllen Parks & Recreation Department invite you to join them for the 27th annual Candlelight Posada. This free, family-friendly event will be held at Archer Park Friday, December 4th from 5pm to 10pm and Saturday, December 5th from 3pm to 9pm. All events are free to the public! Cultural Food beverages can be purchased throughout the 35 booths within the park. Friday Night Entertainment Coming Soon... Saturday Entertainment Coming Soon... Parade Posada Parade Packet The parade begins at 7 pm from Main Street and Houston and ends at Main and Cedar. Entries # 1-66 dropoff at Broadway and Jackson….enter from 10th and Houston Entries # 67 and up dropped off at old Civic Center Parking Lot. Enter from 10th and Lindberg. Band members pickup is at the Tax Office..(Old City Hall), 15th and Cedar. Higalgo County Sheriff’s Posse dropoff is at Ithaca and Main Street Spectators can use Park-N-Ride from the new Downtown Parking Lot for only $5. Park and ride to Renaissance Hotel – back side on 15th Street. Buses will return to parking garage after parade Posada Procession begins at 7:30p.m. on Saturday at Main & Chicago (La Placita) Proceeds North to Archer Park.
