Overview
The Recreation Division of the McAllen Parks and Recreation Department works hard to develop a variety of Arts & Crafts course offerings for the youth of McAllen and the surrounding communities. In conjunction with the McAllen International Museum, specially designed arts and crafts classes are offered to kids ranging in age from 4 to 12. The Summer Theatre program gives those with a theatrical flair an opportunity to audition, rehearse, and perform a musical. And the Airbrush Art program offers artists the chance to learn a new artistic tool.
