Graffiti is removed by using steam cleaners, special chemicals, or painted over. Graffiti crews try to match the paint as close as possible to the existing color. The paint is never exact. Residents do have the option of purchasing the paint and having the city crew paint over it.
Graffiti is removed free of charge all we ask is that you call the Police Department and obtain a case number then call the Public Works Office at 681-4000 to report it. The City is not liable for damage to property (such as sprinkler systems, septic tanks, trees, shrubs, etc.)
Private residents, homeowners and businesses are encouraged to call in to report graffiti on city property and/or city right-of-ways.
