McALLEN – The City of McAllen and Choice Hotels International will break ground on a new upscale hotel, Cambria hotel & suites on Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2015 at 10 a.m. at the McAllen Convention Center.

The 121-room Cambria McAllen will serve as the brand’s third property in Texas and is set to officially open in late 2016.

The site of the new Cambria is located directly across the street from the McAllen Convention Center and just three miles from McAllen International Airport.

Featured speakers include Choice Hotels president and CEO Steve Joyce and Roel “Roy” Rodriguez, P.E.
