Under direct supervision of the City Manager, the Office of Retail and Business Development was created for the purpose of marketing and promoting the City of McAllen as the premier business location of the Rio Grande Valley.
The goal of the Office of Retail and Business Development is to facilitate, maintain, and sustain Retail and Business Development within the City of McAllen.
Through industry events, recruitment missions, advertising and public relations, the Office of Retail and Business Development has one message “McAllen is Built For Business”.
Additionally, the Office of Retail and Business Development manages the McAllen EB-5 Regional Center.
Under direct supervision of the President of the McAllen EB-5 Regional Center, Roel Roy Rodriguez, P.E., the McAllen EB-5 Regional Center is committed to delivering a secure pathway to investors seeking Lawful Permanent Residencies in the United States for their families through the EB-5 Immigrant and Investor Program.
