To kick off Hispanic Heritage Month, McAllen International Airport unveiled the Photography Exhibit, “Nuestra Tierra, Nuestra Herencia,” inspired by sustainability.
The exhibit highlights the partnership with the Consulates of El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, and Mexico as well as the ability MFE has to connect travelers to anywhere in the world.
MLB pitcher Jaime Garcia was also honored as the 2023 National Hispanic Heritage honoree for his role as a trailblazer in sports, his advocacy for sustainability, and his engagement with groups tackling sustainability issues.
