Since October 26, 1848, Starr County has been the home of historical Fort Ringgold and home to hundreds of veterans who have served their country with pride and commitment to this Nation of free people. Along with members of VFW Post 8526, we honor and remember the men of Starr County killed in the wars and conflicts of our nation.
