Routes
McAllen Express Transit operates a number of routes throughout the city of McAllen. Select the point closest to where you are and where you want to go. If you are transferring to another route, be sure to get a transfer ticket. Check the time schedule as to when the bus will be going by that stop. Please have the exact fare ready before boarding the bus.
When leaving from McAllen Central Station, purchase tickets at the authorized ticket agent center
Schedules
Please consult the bus schedule to see when the route runs. Buses are not assigned exact times at every stop. Please try to arrive at your stop a few minutes early. The times shown in the schedule are times at major intersections; from there you can estimate when the bus will arrive at the stop.
*Remember, the time indicated on the schedule is an estimated time!
Schedules are subject to change without notice. We make every effort to adhere to published schedules but bear no liability for failure to do so. McAllen Express does not run on Sundays, New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas.

Bus stops are conveniently located throughout the routes. If you're uncertain where the nearest stop is located, please call us. Have a pencil and paper ready to take down the information given. It is recommended that you wait at a designated bus stop
