The McAllen Police Department is required to report yearly crime statistics to the State of Texas and the F.B.I. regarding specific crime in our city.

Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR)

The Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) program was created in 1929 by the International Association of Chiefs of Police to meet a need for reliable uniform crime statistics for the nation. Many annual statistical publications are produced from this data. Below is a list of the yearly crime reports currently available.

Sex Offender Database link

All convicted Sex Offenders living in the state of Texas are required to register with their local law enforcement agency, which forwards information to the Texas Department of Public Safety – Sex Offender Program. The Texas Department of Public Safety offers a comprehensive list of all registered Sex Offenders living in the state of Texas. Information may be searched using zip code or name and date of birth of offender.
