The City of McAllen staff received three bids from three companies interested in building a Hotel at the McAllen Convention Center site. The staff in a regular open bid meeting on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at 3 pm opened the three proposals. The companies which submitted their proposals are AGP Hotel Group Ltd., McAllen Texas – Embassy Suites; Goldstein Financial, South Padre Island, Texas – Embassy Suites; and Journeyman Construction, Austin, Texas – Marriott.
On Monday, December 9th at 5 pm during its regular scheduled City Commission meeting, City Commissioners will consider the three proposals.
