The 31st Health Body Mind Expo will take place at the McAllen Convention Center.
The Expo is scheduled for Sunday, November 23, from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. With thousands in attendance, this is certainly the largest health event in the Rio Grande Valley.
The Health Body Mind Expo promotes a healthy lifestyle in the Rio Grande Valley and brings awareness on healthcare issues to the community. Among the exhibitors are health care providers, gyms, Zumba and yoga studios, nutrition specialists, massage therapists and spas, weight loss products and information, kids clubs, book stores, sport clubs and organizations, stress management services, holistic centers, financial management advisors among many others.
Thousands of free screenings will be offered, also, live fitness classes, in-house massages, healthy food preparation demos as well as many other healthy activities to participate in. Free screening will be based on a first come first serve basis until supplies last.
This year, the guest speaker is Dr. Enrique Griego, and will cover different topics including diabetes and overweight as well as answer questions attendees may have.
In addition, the Health Body Mind Expo hosts a kids section, where a series of games and healthy fun activities will take place.
