Quinta Mazatlan hosts Vida Verde Festival There will be no parking on-site; guests will be shuttled to front gate

McALLEN 
– Live reptiles, birds of prey and the rare ocelot will make an appearance at Quinta Mazatlan during the ninth annual Vida Verde Festival, the largest Earth Day Festival in South Texas.
 
On Saturday, April 18, the McAllen branch of the World Birding Center will be the backdrop for live animal adventures, magicians, music, and over 70 vendors and artists. Visitors can also enjoy a farmer's market, organic cooking classes, a children's discovery zone, gourmet cooking and handcrafted arts.
Parking for Vida Verde will be at the McAllen Civic Center. A cashier will be on hand at the Civic Center. Guests may purchase an event ticket then get on the bus and be dropped off at the front gates to Quinta Mazatlan World Birding Center.
Parking will not be permitted on-site.
The festival will kick off at 7:30 a.m. with the Run Wild 5k. Runners will receive free entrance into Vida Verde with their bib.
