The City of McAllen would like to advise residents due to unforeseen circumstances the business phone lines and email at the McAllen Fire Department and Traffic Departments are not working. It happened this afternoon at 3 pm when phone service was disrupted. The emergency phone lines 911 are operational at the McAllen Police and McAllen Fire Departments. If you need 911, emergency operators at the police department will service your calls. So, city officials would like to reiterate to our community there is no disruption in emergency service lines.
If you have any business or administrative calls you need to make to the Traffic or Fire Departments please call the city’s Call Center at 956-681-3111. 311 operators will take down your information or requests for service. However, if it’s an emergency call, please dial 911.
