McAllen- As McAllen prepares for 20,000 visitors for the 2016 Games of Texas this summer, a new entryway monument welcomes them to the City of Palms with open arms.
The city’s newest environmentally friendly sign, located at the entrance to the city on S. 10th and Col. Rowe, was recently completed and was designed by Simon Solorio.
Based on Modern Art Form style and made from concrete and metal, the artistic entryway has colorful recycled glass incorporated into the landscaping.
The fountain also features a unique recycling water system and an auto top off-self-water leveling controller so no water is wasted.
