Closures begin Friday morning, various phases leading up to the parade

As the City of McAllen prepares for the 2023 McAllen Holiday Parade, presented by H-E-B and powered by Bert Ogden & Fiesta Dealerships, residents are reminded that continued   lane and road closures along Bicentennial Blvd. from La Vista Avenue to Pecan Blvd between now and Saturday are necessary.

City of McAllen Parks & Recreation, Traffic and Engineering staff continue to work diligently to prepare the parade route and ask for patience by motorists traveling along Bicentennial Blvd.

Starting Friday, December 1, 2023 at 9:00 a.m., the outer lanes along Bicentennial Blvd., from La Vista Avenue to Pecan Blvd., will be closed.
